Account information

When you create a Grow With Pip account, we may collect:

• Your email address
• Authentication information required to securely create and access your account
• Your Grow With Pip user ID

Passwords are handled through our authentication provider and are not available to us in plain text.

Information you provide in the app

Grow With Pip allows you to choose goals and record information about your daily routine and self-care activities. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

• Your chosen name for Pip or another buddy
• Daily goals
• Wake and bedtime preferences
• Water intake
• Meals
• Movement and exercise activity
• Sleep
• Focus sessions
• Activity duration
• Goal and quest completion
• XP, level and in-app progression
• Backgrounds and other in-app items you unlock or select

This information is provided voluntarily when you use Grow With Pip.

Grow With Pip is a self-care application and is not a medical service. Information entered into the app is not intended to provide medical diagnosis, treatment or professional health advice.

We use your information to:

• Create and maintain your Grow With Pip account
• Save your goals and preferences
• Track the self-care activities you choose to record
• Calculate your progress, XP and levels
• Generate and track Daily Quests
• Personalise Pip’s behaviour and experience based on your activity
• Restore your progress when you use Grow With Pip on supported devices
• Provide account features such as password recovery
• Maintain, troubleshoot and improve the reliability of the app
• Protect the security and integrity of Grow With Pip

We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising.

Grow With Pip uses third-party infrastructure providers to operate the app.

Supabase

Grow With Pip currently uses Supabase for services including:

• User authentication
• Database storage
• Account management
• Secure storage of Grow With Pip account and progress information

Information required to provide these services may therefore be processed through Supabase’s infrastructure.

Some app information may also be temporarily stored or cached on your device to allow Grow With Pip to function correctly and synchronise your experience.

We only use service providers where reasonably necessary to operate and maintain Grow With Pip.

Grow With Pip includes an optional Chat with Pip feature. When you choose to send a message to Pip, that message is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a reply.

AI provider

Grow With Pip currently uses Google Gemini for Chat with Pip. Information sent to Google is subject to Google’s privacy practices:

Care context included with Chat

When relevant, a small read-only summary of your current-day Water, Food, Movement, Sleep and Focus status may be included with your message. This summary only covers today’s progress and does not include:

• Your name or email address
• Subscription or payment information
• Historical progress or previous days
• Custom goals or their full history
• Other profile or account settings

What Chat with Pip does not do

• Chat with Pip does not currently use long-term AI memory across conversations.
• Chat conversations are not intentionally stored by Grow With Pip as long-term chat history.
• The AI feature cannot modify your tracked care data. Any changes to your activities must be made directly inside the app.

Please do not submit information to Chat with Pip that you do not want to be processed by the AI service.

Grow With Pip does not sell your personal information.

We do not provide your personal information to advertisers for targeted advertising.

Information may be shared with service providers where necessary to operate the app, maintain its infrastructure, protect users or comply with applicable legal requirements.

We generally retain your Grow With Pip information for as long as you maintain an account or as reasonably necessary to provide the service.

You can delete your Grow With Pip account from within the app.

When an account is deleted, the personal Grow With Pip data associated with that account is deleted from our active application database, subject to any information we may be required to retain for legal, security or technical reasons.

Information stored temporarily on a device may remain until the app’s local storage is cleared or the application is removed.

You can request deletion directly inside Grow With Pip through the app’s account settings.

Deleting your account is intended to remove your Grow With Pip account and the personal app data associated with it.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information handled through Grow With Pip.

This includes using authenticated accounts, access controls and secure connections between the app and its backend services.

However, no online service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

You may:

• Choose which optional goals you enable
• Choose what self-care information you record
• Update your goals and schedule
• Change certain profile information
• Stop using the app at any time
• Delete your account and associated app data

You may also contact us if you have questions about the personal information associated with your Grow With Pip account.

Grow With Pip is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorisation.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to Grow With Pip in circumstances where they should not have, please contact us.

The service providers used to operate Grow With Pip may process or store information in countries other than the country where you live.

Where this occurs, information may be subject to the privacy and data protection laws of those jurisdictions.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Grow With Pip develops, including when we introduce new features or change the services used to operate the app.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy.

Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate method.
